* What: Fine Arts Foundation Debutante Ball, The Festival of Flowers, at the University of Denver's Margery Reed Terrace July 19
* Benefits: 450 people helped raise money for the Fine Arts Foundation, whose mission is "To enrich life in Colorado by supporting the arts." The foundation has contributed thousands of dollars to such organizations as the Colorado Children's Choral, the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and the Denver Brass.
* The evening: Cocktails, dinner and dancing to New Society by Jerry Barnett.
* Chairwomen: Kathy Liebmann Brown and Margaret Bell
* Seen: Stephanie Betts, Mariette Blackett, Margaret Cunningham (2008 Citizen of the Arts), Lynn Hinkle Jean Watt (co-president of Fine Arts Foundation)
