Public input sought on DPS bond

A citizens' committee has recommended that Denver Public Schools seek a $454 million bond issue this fall. Denver school board members are to vote Sept. 2 whether to put the tax increase on the Nov. 4 ballot. Before then, five public meetings are slated:

El Paso County sheriff's deputies arrested a 22-year-old man Tuesday for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with a 12-year-old girl while two other pre-teens watched.
