Bill O'Reilly will be competing against himself in Denver beginning Monday.
Clear Channel Communications, operators of KHOW-AM (630), is bringing back O'Reilly's two-hour weekday talk show at 6 p.m. directly opposite his weeknight hour on cable's Fox News Channel.
O'Reilly's broadcast will be on an eight-hour delay since The Radio Factor airs live on Westwood One syndication at 10 a.m.
Clear Channel canceled O'Reilly's program in November 2005, citing declining Arbitron ratings.
O'Reilly was replaced by Glenn Beck, a Philadelphia-based talk show host, now airing noon-3 p.m.
The addition of O'Reilly cuts an hour from the local talk show headed by Dan Caplis and Craig Silverman.
However, Silverman said he prefers the three-hour time period.
"Four hours is a long time'' Silverman said.
Kris Olinger, Clear Channel AM program director, said O'Reilly's talk-show format "actually works well" in the evening time period.
The change means Dr. Laura's syndicated show will be pushed back until 8 p.m.
